Cambridge Future Tech (CFT) is a technology-first venture builder working alongside the GravTech team to develop a sustainable high-growth venture that delivers advanced technology and accurate geophysical surveys.
GravTech is pioneering the use of UAV-mounted gravity sensors for advanced subsurface mapping. This innovative technology has the potential to transform geophysical exploration, mineral and energy resource discovery, and environmental monitoring by delivering high-quality, precise gravity data in a cost-effective and efficient manner. By integrating cutting-edge gravity gradiometer systems with UAV avionics, GravTech is setting new standards in gravity surveys, offering unmatched accuracy and accessibility.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer to supervise and control all strategic, operational growth and funding aspects of the company. This role requires a visionary leader with a robust track record in innovation, particularly preferred in technology sectors related to aerial or geophysical survey technologies. You will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success, from early- stage development to a globally recognised enterprise.
You will also be directly supported by Cambridge Future Tech, a venture builder that specialises in building companies around cutting edge IP. With a team of expert operators and analysts on payroll to accelerate and de-risk the early stages of company building, this team will significantly support the incoming CEO in the early stages of the company.

• Develop and execute business strategies that align with short-term goals and long-term vision.
• Balance innovation with financial sustainability and growth.
Team Leadership
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Commercialisation & Business Development
• Drive the commercialisation of GravTech’s UAV-mounted gravity sensors, ensuring market relevance.
• Identify and secure clients in target sectors such as mining, energy, and environmental monitoring.
Funding & Growth
• Develop and execute effective strategies to secure venture capital and financial investments to support scaling.
• Cultivate relationships with investors and stakeholders.
Operational Management
• Ensure efficient daily operations, regulatory compliance, and resource management.
• Make data-driven decisions to enhance performance and profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build trust and maintain relationships with key partners, investors, and clients.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate at least two of the following:
• Significant experience in fundraising and leadership, ideally within startup environments.
• Proven expertise in innovation and technology, with a strong preference for backgrounds in drone technology, aerial surveying, geophysical survey technologies, or related fields.
• Strong background and extensive network in potential target markets, including but not limited to mining, oil & gas, and environmental sectors.
Ultimately, we seek a candidate with the drive and ambition to maximise the commercial impact of GravTech’s cutting-edge UAV-based gravity measurement technology. Compensation will align with the typical founder-operator model, including equity ownership with significant potential upside.
