James’ primary role involves comprehending the intricacies of the technologies CFT works with and identifying viable markets for their commercialization. James leads a dedicated team of analysts in technology scouting, deal flow management, quantitative technology benchmarking, and market research, contributing significantly to CFT’s venture-building efforts.
Before joining CFT, James built his career as a technology scout and market analyst, working alongside and consulting for some of the world’s leading technology companies.
His expertise spans several sectors, including electronics, advanced materials, and medical devices. James holds a Masters in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
