Michael Beer currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Energy Vault (NYSE:NRGV). Prior to Energy Vault, he served as CFO at FreeWire Technologies, and Head of Financial Strategy & Investor Relations at Luminar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:LAZR).
Before Luminar, Michael spent seven years at Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) in Hong Kong & Singapore, focusing on the Pan-Asian transportation, logistics and infrastructure space. From 2006-2010, he covered the North American transportation sector at Bear Stearns and subsequently Wolfe Research in New York. He has been a frequent contributor to CNBC, Nasdaq TradeTalks, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and Barron’s, among others.
Michael received undergraduate degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Eller College of Management (University of Arizona) and completed his MBA at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).
