Sven is in his final year pursuing a double masters in Innovation Design Engineering at Imperial College London. He has a background in biological sciences with a BSc from Bristol University. Professionally, Sven has contributed significantly to sustainable protein companies in London and Tanzania, taking on roles as project manager and production manager. His responsibilities included overseeing the design, construction, and operations of modular insect farms in London, as well as managing a new R&D facility and production machinery in East Africa.
Sven’s expertise lies in Biotech and Agritech; having represented a consortium of companies on UK and EU Scientific Committees, and advocated for changes in Novel Foods legislation.
